Out Of Character
First of all, just be courteous, be polite. Don't start fights, but if there is a disagreement you need to settle, please do it over private messages rather than in public. Let's try to be mature, shall we? Cursing in OOC is fine, I just don't want to see the f-bomb dropped in every other word. Otherwise, go crazy! Have fun, chat it up, be random, poke people with sporks...Good deal. On this note, please don't advertise/flood/say mean things in the Chat Box. That will get your IP banned if you do it consistently, and that's no fun.
General In Character
These should go without saying, but I'll clarify them anyway. Powerplaying, godmoding, and all of that ridiculous stuff is absolutely positively without a doubt forbidden. The same goes with Mary-sues and Gary-stus and that load of bull. Perfect characters are boring. Characters who are a little screwed up make life interesting. Make your characters nice and three-dimensional, especially in your application. After all, it's there for both you and us to get to know your character better.
Force breeding and fighting are always allowed. However unless it is in the specified lands for those actions, please contact the other person and ask before you do that. It's common courtesy. All equines are under their superior Lords and Ladies of each alliance, there is to be no fighting for the title. (They are elected, after all.)
Mares & Foals
Mares may claim lands that are specified for mare-claim. Otherwise they must be claimed by a lead stallion or a lead mare, and thus travel with them to their lands. Mares may choose who they leave with. Mares may also choose to be loners, and thus travel to the loner's lands, where a single stallion may claim her. Mares may fight for positions - if in a herd with a lead stallion she can fight for any mare-held position. If in a herd with a lead mare she can also fight for the lead mare position. In that case she can also fight for mates.
Foals, until of proper age, must submit to all elders and all superiors in the herd. The secret word is 'forsaken'. Foals do not fight except for learning experiences or any kind of frolic time. Foals may leave the herd at three years of age. The time frame for foal growth is one year per every two months. If you wish you may speed this up to one year per every one month, but otherwise it is not to be changed.
Stallions
Stallions may only claim land that is specified for stallions. If they are the LEAD of a herd they may claim mares - if they are loners they may claim ONE mare to be their mate. Stallions under lead stallions or mares may also claim one mare, if their lead allows it. Stallions may fight for nearly anything - leadership, mares, lands - unless they are under a lead mare. They may not contest her leadership. And like mares they may not contest the position of the Lords and Ladies.
When formally fighting (for lands, mares, etc.) the battle will be judged by a moderator, who will look over the posts and declare a winner. Any powerplaying/godmoding automatically disqualifies you.
When stealing, you must post in the stealing board with a riddle/poem or something of the sort and hint as to who you want to steal. If someone suspects someone in their herd is going to be stolen, they can save them. If no one guesses correctly, the steal is valid. If you think YOUR character is going to be stolen, you cannot save them. If the steal is valid, your character must go with whoever stole them.
